In the heart of the city the Thermal Spa is an extraordinary, eye-catching establishment, where the 62°C temperature thermal water gushed out 50 years ago which provides  an unforgettable relaxation. From outside the spa has the impression of the Turkish monuments with its cupola and towers, while inside it is decorated by Zsolnay ceramics. The facility has several complementary units (summer swimming pool, swimming pool, thermal spas, pool, recreational and health department), so it gives a quality relaxation and recreation time to all age groups. In the summer, guests are welcomed by a 25m swimming pool and a shady kid’s swimming pool with a slide.  In the spa, exterior and inner resting terraces serve the guests' comfort. There is a cafe on the gallery and a restaurant welcomes the guests on the ground floor. In order to assist the disabled, every point of the building is accessible. In the medical department under the supervision of a rheumatologist specialist, guests can choose from a broad variety of physiotherapy and balneotherapy treatments. You can enjoy the treatments with the help of a really experienced professional team and the latest high-tech medical equipments. Our services: massages, mud pack, physiotherapy, balneotherapy (thermal bath, carbonic acid bath, underwater jet massage). Health Resort

Szigetvár received the ‘Health Resort’ classification from the National Medical Office. The decision was made because of the excellent quality of air and low noise level inside this 15 hectare area, including the Spa and the Castle.

Thermal water of Szigetvár

The water is a sodium chloride alkali hydrogen carbonate medicinal water, which is very beneficial for arthritis, rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. The regular usage of the high fluoride content slows the old-age osteoporosis down, and inhibits children's tooth decay. It is also suitable for rehabilitation after surgery or fractures, gynaecological problems and to eliminate prostate disorders. Guests with high blood pressure, cardiovascular- and heart diseases can use the spa bravely as well.
